his first birthday

We celebrated William’s first birthday at Grammie and Pop’s! He turned one on the Wednesday we were there so Grammie wanted to do a birthday party for him.

With his birthday cake that Aunt Mae made.

Such a serious expression!

He was quite happy with Andrew’s card!`

And the picture Christina made for him [smile]

But I think the picture that topped them all was his one from Lydia.

He [really] liked it, and kept talking to it!willbdaypandg-5 willbdaypandg-6

And messing with it, trying to peel up the one she’d put on it.willbdaypandg-7

He enjoyed opening his presents too.

He had some cute onlookers. [smile]willbdaypandg-9

And he was very happy with the cars that were given to him!willbdaypandg-10 ';

In some ways, it seems as if William’s been born for much longer then year- like he’s always been part of our family, but in other ways, I realize how much the time has flown since he was born. He’s such a sweet little boy, and we’re very thankful for him.

Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.”

Precious faces!! He is so adorable with his solemn face and then his smile lights his whole face up! What a precious baby boy!
