While visting the Taylor's last winter, we had this supremely good cheesecake for the first time! It's extremely quick to whip up, and sends a wonderful aroma throughout the house as it bakes!
1/3 c. butter
1 ½ c. sugar, divided
4 8oz. Cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
Scrap white off oreos and then crush them cookie part. Once crushed, stir in melted butter and ¼ c. sugar. Pat in 9x13 pan. Mix all other ingredients until smooth including the oreo cream you scraped off earlier. Pour mixture into pan. Bake at 350’ for 40 minutes. Delicious topped with homemade blueberry pie filling.
