::From Our Kitchen::

The majority of my experiences reveal that people tend to hesitate when this dip is in front of them. Green dip? That must be disgusting! However, in most cases, those who are "adventurous"enough to sample it, discover it is delicious!

The best part about this green is that it's all natural! Avocados are naturally bright green, loaded with nutrients. Blend this with fresh lemon juice, real garlic and onions and you have a healthy, easy chip or vegetable dip.

So, be "brave" and try this supremely good, very nutritious recipe today! [smile]

:: Guacamole ::
2 medium avocados, seeded peeled and cut up.
½ small onion, minced
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, chopped small
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
Blend all ingredients together in blender or food processor until smooth. Makes about 1 ¼ cups.

We really enjoy guacamole too! LilyAnn usually makes it, but she uses a potato masher instead of a blender. It has some chunks of avocado in it, which is the way Daddy likes it. We also add finely diced cilantro to ours, which gives it a nice taste.
