:: From Our Kitchen ::

homegrown lettuce...

...fresh strawberries...
...plus a delicious vinegratte dressing and toasted pecans...
These ingredients combined yield one most delicious salad!

:: Strawberry Spinach Salad ::

toasted pecans

1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
2 T. sesame seeds (you can use far less seeds then the recipe calls for and it still tastes great)
1 T. poppy seeds
dash worchestire sauce
1/2 c. light olive or canola oil
1/4 - 1/2 c. sugar

Mix the dressing ingredients well, and pour over salad ingredients. The dressing will make much more then needed for one salad bowl. But, never fear, for this dressing is very light and tastes wonderful with almost any salad! [smile]

And God said, Behold, I have given you every
herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth,
 and every tree, in the which is the fruit
of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
{Genesis 1:29}
