Autumn Deliciousness: Apple Crumb Pie

Delicious and "homey", our family loves apple crumb pie...and anything apple for that matter! This is our version of it, and one you might enjoy these autumn days.
Apple Crumb Pie
6 c. tart apples
1 9 in. pie crust
1/2 and 1/3 c. sugar
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. flour
6 T. butter


Wash the apples...

Peel, core and cut apples into eigths, then pour them into pie crust.

Mix 1/2 c. brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle it over apples.


Next, mix 1/3 c. brown sugar with flour and cut in butter. Sprinkle over apples.

Bake at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
