Prison Ministry

Our family, with the team working in the prison. {photo credit: David Waller}
A while ago, a good friend of ours, Mr. Keller, who is a missionary to the incarcerated, called and asked if we'd be interested in having someone stay at our house while they had a Journey to the Heart at a local women's prison the last week of October. Through family discussion and us all throwing ideas around, God led us to give the team our home to stay in. Many miracles had occurred to even allow this event to take place and we were so thankful and blessed with this opportunity to be involved in an incredible ministry in the prison. You can read about just a portion of what God has done HERE.
When we arrived home after eight days of staying with Mom's parents, the thoughtful ladies had left us notes and treats, including candy from Mexico! We appreciated their sweet thoughtfulness.

"Use hospitality one to another without grudging. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God...
 that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever."
{1 Peter 4:9 &11}
