There's few things in everyday life as satisfying as working hard...together. All the while talking, laughing, and just having a good time. Family friends of ours bought a place much closer to our area (yea!!!!) and are working on several projects before they can move in. Building fences...renovating the inside...cleaning windows....scrubbing walls...building a puppy pen and much, much more--it's a joy to diligently accomplish! And for a rare change there were a few pictures captured amidst the happenings!
Several loads of lime rock were being dumped when this picture was captured, and then being smoothed out with a tractor. "The dump trucks are here!" would be the cheer of the little guys every time a new load arrived, and they'd bound down to the driveway to watch the latest load be dumped.
A favorite time of mine was listening to this "little" man as I worked and he helped. Hearing life from a six-year-old's perspective is quite entertaining! [grin]
Of course, spending time with these girls was great! Right after Anna snapped this, I realized we could've asked one of our bros to take it for us so all the girls would be in it...
As would be expected, this little girl was more than thrilled to be the youngest one at the house with all the "big kids".Getting an elevated view of the world and wearing her big bro's hat only added to it!
"The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing:
but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat."
