Texas {part 4} // Downtown Dallas

One morning we went with some family to see Downtown Dallas. It was a beautiful and sunny fall day!

Thanks to Aunt Susan for taking this picture!

For a very country girl like me, seeing these big buildings was pretty cool! But, after a few days of crosswalks, traffic, and huge buildings, I was happy to be back in home sweet home, with dirt roads, traffic made of a cat crossing the road, and seeing barns in the middle of a big, green field. =)

Isn't he the cutest lil' dude?

Ella was my entertaining sidekick for a while.

We went to see where President Kennedy was shot...

It was from this building, on the sixth floor, that the man fired his gun...

Dallas was originally only 30 square miles!

Carson and Jonathan sleeping like angels.

Flying home...gorgeous clouds!

Florida from the air! {this was part of the Villages}

Back at the airport! Dad, Ellen and Alanna came to pick us up. We were SO happy and thankful to be headed home!

[And so concludes my Texas posts =)]
