Celebrating Forty Years

Two weeks ago, our church celebrated forty years since it began.  It was a wonderful day recalling the Lord's faithfulness and enjoying a great time of worship and fellowship for over three hundred people. We are very thankful for Grandaddy {who started the church} and Grandma, and are blessed by their example of faithfulness to the Lord and the work He's called them too, through good and bad times.  We're looking forward to what the Lord has in store for the coming years!

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee,
Thou changest not, Thy compassions they fail not,
As Thou hast been,Thou forever wilt be.
Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon, and stars in their courses above;
Join with all nature in manifold witness,
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love.
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,
Thine own great presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today, and bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside.
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me!

A big "thank you" to Savana for capturing several of these snapshots that give a peek into our day...
