Such Mercy...

 There’s a wideness in God’s mercy,
Like the wideness of the sea;
There’s a kindness in His justice,
Which is more than liberty.

There is welcome for the sinner,
And more graces for the good;
There is mercy with the Savior;
There is healing in His blood.
For the love of God is broader
Than the measure of our mind;
And the heart of the Eternal
Is most wonderfully kind.
 If our love were but more simple,
We should take Him at His word;
And our lives would be all sunshine
In the sweetness of our Lord.

This week, our family is memorizing this hymn during morning devotions.  The words are so full of rich truth. What a mercy that God would give us eternal life!
Yet, on top of that He lets His experience His benefits while walking through life with Him! I couldn't help but think of this hymn while viewing these pictures of siblings for it's such a gift of God's love "that is broader than the measure of man's mind" that He would put them in my life.  Considering those undeserved mercies, the outflow is aspiring to that simple faith of taking Him at His word and resting in His promises.
Life is beautiful...in the sweetness of the Lord.
