Another School Year Is History

Fondly I recollect memories of completing kindergarten fifteen years ago and Mom making Cherry Chocolate Cake for a treat.  Since then, tradition has been to have cake and do something special for each school year we complete.  With five students now, it's a fun time for all of us.  Anna {12th}, Ivan {10th}, Ellen {7th}, Andrew {5th}, and Alanna {1st} worked diligently to complete this school year on track, and tonight we took time to celebrate!
An egg hunt...
Jolly Johnny had an almost-two-year-old's version of an intense time scouring the yard for eggs.  A great big bro was there to assist him every step of the way!

Numbering his in gathering...

"Oh, yeah, I got another bag of M&M's!"

Plenty of candy to enjoy...

It's for REAL, y'all...Lord willing, just seven weeks from now Anna's school days will officially be completed!  Talk about exciting!

Our amazing parents!

Nine months ago on the first day of this school year...

Tonight, celebrating a job well done.
Ready to dig in...
Praise the Lord for awesome parents committed to raising us for Him, the privilege of home education where Deuteronomy 6 becomes reality, and wonderful family times!   "And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up."  {Deuteronomy 6:6-7}
