By Faith...

Abel offered an acceptable sacrifice.
Enoch didn't see death.
Noah built an ark.
Abraham journeyed to an unknown land.
Sarah bore a son.
Abraham offered up his own son.
Moses chose affliction with God's people, forsaking Egypt.
The Isrealites crossed the Red Sea.
Jerihco's walls tumbled down.
Rahab's life was spared.
Three men survived a fiery furnace. God walked in it WITH THEM.
There's not adequate time to recount those who BY FAITH..."subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth." {Hebrews 11:33-38}

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."   BY FAITH... "this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith." {Hebrews 11:1}
God, the Lord who changes not {Malachi 3:6},  calls His people of every tribe and tongue, of each new generation to believe Him--stepping into the world of the unknown BY FAITH!  For "without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."
"...Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,  Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."  {Hebrews 12:1-2}
BY FAITH we too ask almost imperatively, "Is anything too hard for the Lord?!"  {Genesis 18:14}

BY FAITH we worship Him despite hardship, simply because of Who He is!  Awed by His majesty, we raise our hands to heaven, believing, "Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee!" {Jeremiah 32:17}
"For WITH GOD nothing shall be impossible!"  {Luke 1:37}
